Hi, I have just joined the Lumberjocks after browsing for a few months.
I have bought a set of Pfeil carving chisels to get me started in a carving class next month. One of the chisel handles has some of the grain ripped and is a bit rough, just asking a bit of advice whether I should use a scraper to clean it up a bit and what finish they use.
I have also bought a few old J B Addis and there are a few Hero brand chisels with them. Anyone know anything about these Hero branded chisels, I think they may be from the 1960/70’s.
