I just bought 2 new DVDs and both of them are from (Frank Klausz) 1. Hand Tools, 2. Dovetail A Drawer.
While watching the DVD I have noticed and heard him say to use the wood plane by pulling toward you.
He did this while making a drawer and while demonstrateing how to clean and fix a #4 Stanley plane.
It has been real hard for me to do it the push way so 2 weeks ago I started pulling the planes. I do not even have to pull fast just slow and steady with more downward pressure on the nose at the start and at the back when at the end of the plane.
I was just wondering if anyone has also done it this way and how you do it.
