Matthias Wandel has a great online game to test your ability to “eyeball”.

So how well can you eyeball?
I have played this game for months and the best I have done is a 1.5.
I just finished a game with a 3.2.
I have had my share of 4s,5s,6s and 7s
How about you?

overall of 6.38 on my first try… :S

I SUCK at the parallelogram bit, but eyeballing center and points of intersection/bisecting angles wasn’t so bad. I think on one of them I was off by only .02 units! :O

I blame veneer work. Can’t make shapes worth a damn, but I can sure as hell tell you that my angles are off! XD

3.7 but convinced I’m handicapped by having a CRT rather than flat screen monitor, oh and my pesky mouse just isn’t up to precision work, hehe

2.79 on first try
parallelogram was the worst by far (~9)

1.94 second try!
I had 0.1 on bisect the angle. I’m awesome!

1.7 I’m getting better!
0.0s on midpoint and bisect

I’m damn good at eyeballing parallel. Damn good, I must say. Due to my job, I can eyeball common metric measurements under a few cm pretty well. Anything bigger than that, I’m way off. My fiance’ will say, “how wide do you think that is?” I’ll say, “50 feet?”, she’ll measure, “30 feet.”.

I am apparently pretty good at finding right angles and bisecting angles, convergence not to bad, not so good everywhere else…

6.23 on second try, I think I’ll give up now, I’m getting worse
