I have a headboard from our master bedroom that is in need of some help and since we don’t have the money to build new right now I was thinking of trying the antique glaze. I was hoping for some directions and color suggestions. I really don’t know how to do it and I have no idea what color paint or glaze to use. Also, does it need a clear top coat? Thanks for the help!

Yes you can use glaze to make antique effect.
The black glaze or dark brown glaze is help you to make antique looked for your bed.

There are many antique effect you can make with glaze.
You have to clean your old finish with mineral spirit and scuff sand your old finish. Applied the glaze by brush until you get the effect you need.

Let the glaze dry and then coat it with clear coating
