Topic tags/keywords: baldor grind grinder buffer shop tools

Tonight I picked up two Baldor units. One a grinder (.5” arbor, 3600rpm), the other a buffer (.75” arbor, 1800rpm)... both for $300, in good shape.

I am now in need of advice. For the grinder, I suppose I need two grinding wheels—wanting to sharpen wood chisels (I know it’s a bit fast, but this is what I have). The other I plan to use for buffing a finish on guitar/basses.

New these would have been about $1k so I just couldn’t pass up this deal.

The buffer is a current model (332B).... so I know those sell for $550 on Amazon, 5 star review.
