Just bought a 16/32 Performax Drum sander (now bought and sold under the Jet name). I am looking for a canadian supplier of the sanding strips that this tool needs.

I have down loaded the manual and will stert trying to tweak the machine and get it set up. Looks like I may need to order a new feed belt .

Any one out there using this machine please jump in any info is good info

I picked up a used 22/44 Performax that needed a feed belt and paper. I got the belt from Highland Woodworking and the paper from Klingspor. The belt that was shipped was the wrong one and after emailimg the customer service they got back to me right away. They shipped the correct belt over night at no charge and sent me a shipping label to return the wrong one.

Nice, if you don’t mind me asking, where did you get it from? They seem hard to find up here in Canada.

Me again, I went to amazon.com and added the jet 16-32 sander the paper and a feed belt clicked proceed to checkout. I got a message saying that the drum sander could not be shipped to my address but I did not get an error for the other stuff. You might want to try there.
