Hello everyone! I am looking at getting into wood working and was wondering what book, blog, website tools to get. I plan mostly doing wood work on guitars, but would eventually like to get into other stuff. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to LJ. There are lots of good resources around for beginners, although if you’re interested in guitars that’s rather specific. The book I’ve heard a lot of good things about is Irving Sloane’s Classic Guitar Construction, but it’s not an absolute beginner’s guide from what I know.

To get the basics down, a few good resources are such as http://www.startwoodworking.com/, which is a good way to learn some basics. You can also look into Youtube channels such as Steve Ramsey and The Wood Whisperer. As for books, Paul Seller’s would be a good place to start.

Best of luck.
