Thanks guys! Found an old table on the side of the road that was in rough shape. Was huge and two teared and a giant mirror on top. Wife wanted the mirror part, but i cut the table up into board lengths. Now i have to think of something good to make with it..

I would say alder but alder is a lot stronger and manlier.

I identify that as leverite. As in leverite where you found it. Very ugly

I would agree with Shane and PPK. It is Indonesian rubber wood. It is what cheaper imported furniture is made of.
