Topic tags/keywords: tip show vendor crafts

If you’re in the Northern VA area (or close enough to make the drive), Loudoun Cty. is having an Autumn Faire and Crafts Festival Sept. 24 from 10 am – 4 pm.

They’re still calling for vendors and are charging a $35 booth fee. It might be a good way for you to get some exposure and sell some of your woodwork.

Just click on the link and that should open the PDF with information.
Hope this can help someone out!

Will you have a booth there?

No, I’m just a noob to woodworking. I might do so next year though if my skills improve exponentially. It seems like it would be fun even if nothing sold. Perhaps take the lathe along to do some demonstrations.

I know I would watch someone working on a lathe! I used to do a bit of blacksmithing for a local museum and people were just fascinated with the pounding and heating of the iron, they didn’t seem to much care what was being made just enjoyed the rhythm I guess.
