Topic tags/keywords: tempered pegboard

I guess this is something that I probably ought to know, but I have managed to confuse myself. I’m building a tool storage cabinet for the shop and the doors are going to be assembled with stub tenon frames and pegboard panels. I’ve already purchased the pegboard at the local Borg, but now I’m wondering if it is tempered or not. It’s 1/4” and slick on both sides, I assumed it was tempered because it was slick, but now…?? HELP!!

If the surface is slick then it tempered.

Some is only tempered on one side others both.

Gary,

Is that the only tell-tale?

Tempered is a lot harder to bend.

As far as I know. What else do you need?

Thanks for the responses. Slick works for me – I can do that with my eyes closed! :)
