Topic tags/keywords: finish fire fire retardant alcohol class a chris davis wwbeds

I have a large job that I’m doing that requires a class A fire retardant finish. I thought I had a finish available but come to find out it is not that durable. The customer may need to wipe the beds down with a alcohol based cleaner. Flame Control is the product I was going to use.

I need to be able to apply over stain and be durable against an alcohol solvent.

Any help would be appreciated.

I did the obvious thing and goolgled ‘fire retardant paint’ and got a long list back. I guess it would be helpful to have had some experience with these types of paints. I hope you get some actually useful answers back :-)
