I wish my wife could get so excited about the prospect of new lumber! -- Charlie M. "Woodworking - patience = firewood" |

yeah, people don’t really ‘get it’ when I stop the car in the middle of the road to better inspect a log, or a fell tree on the side of the road…. -- ㊍ When in doubt - There is no doubt - Go the safer route. |

Charlie M., you might want to reconsider wishing for a wife that gets excited over new lumber! Hubby’s pile of lumber for his new shop, looks pretty good to me! (For a few other projects I would like to do!!!) PurpleLev, I’ve done my best to teach my boy to look for “logs” in any tree he cuts up for firewood! Spent the past few days raking hay at the neighbors! They have a small stand of dead trees? Ash I tihink? Hmmm?? OH, and there is a big Yew along the county road? And I saw a Madrona that looks like it might have a log in it, is Madrona good for anything? (And would dad believe me if I told him it JUST fell down?) WDHLT15, I’m hoping for a stacks of lumber! Not sure when the sawmill guy is going to show up and we still have alot of hay to get in! Supposedly feeding the cows (and Hubby getting some sleep) is more important than me having lumber to play with? |

PurpLev, is that not-getting-it related to the not-getting-it when I (in a museum) show more interest in the frames than the pictures? MrsBob, enjoy that wood but leave a few trees! -- Alex ----- Bavaria in Germany |
