We just sold our family farm, which was largely converted to pine forest land. Unfortunately, I can attest to the accuracy of this information.

I’m sorry to hear this. The worst part is that the saw mills will be making money hand over fist from the arbitrage of moving the finished lumber to the higher priced markets, while you are left soaking up the loss.
