hello everybody, thanks for taking the time to read and give some input, heres the deal, back in january i was I was at the big box, and noticed that they had this dust collector on display. Previous to this hadnt seen any dust collectors in the these stores, except the shop vacs which is what my budget had allowed. A few days later while talking to my wife about all the dust , I told her about the dust collector and when things settle down i might try to get it, well a few days later,my wife suprises me with the dust collector, problem is… they only had the floor model, no problem but when i started to play with it i found that , that little peice on the On-off switch was missing, she bought it back in january and i just this past weekend started messing with it and found out, is there a work around for this? I know right thing to do is probible order it, but was wondering how your guys would do it, thanks in advance

Here is the Delta Part number
36 1343758 KEY 1 $3.53 $3.53 Available

A little pricey, but it is the BEST fix for your situation.
You can rig the switch, or replace it altogether with an appropriately sized toggle(wall) switch and work box.

-- One of these hammers oughta fix that...

Order it and do it the right way. I have seen people “rig” tools until you couldn’t recognize them and then the warranty is shot. Just do it right. For Less than $10 you can do that and it will cost you that much to rig it up.

Have your say...
