Hi everyone. I was wondering what size of barrel hinges would be good for small boxes? (The larger ones being about 12” long and 6” wide). I saw some 5mm hinges at woodcraft, would these be strong enought?

Thanks

The wood will usually be 1/2” red oak or walnut that at most will be 12” long by 8” wide. It will be about 8” long and 6” wide most of the time with a 2” wide piece going around the bottom of the box lid.

Thanks for the advice on the limit stop.
