I don’t even think we were supposed to get a storm last night but we did. I live up on the west side of our valley which gets about half the rain as the east but we get the better view. This was from a storm that went through the Mesilla Valley last night over looking Las Cruces, NM.

Wow! I lived in Albuquerque for a year and we used to see spectacular storms there.

We have been getting a couple a week for the last three weeks or so. They are spectacular to watch.
Albuquerque gets crazy storms like we do, great area.

The sound of the thunder rolling throught the valley was incredible. The smell of the electrity lingered for some time afterwards. Just an icredible display of nature.

I either set on bulb, or a long exposure time. No remote yet but I’m thinking I need one.

I do enjoy taking pics. Watcking the fireworks from the sky is breath taking.
