Anyone know of someone selling a large lathe. I’m lookin for a large lathe like the Vicmarc VL300 or Powermatic. Maybe even a Oneway 2436. I’m in Indianapolis Indiana.

Thanks

If you are still looking check out Equipment Sales & Surplus. They have a web store on eBay & are selling 8 Powermatic 3520B's. I have purchased most of my large tools from them. The Head guys name is Neil & he is great to work with. In my experience he is honest and fair. I know he just got a surplus model in today so you may want to call him and see what kind of price you can get on it. I was gonna buy it from him but my wife’s car blew up last Saturday. They ship nationwide so they should be able to get it to you at a reasonable price.

Thanks for the info but I was actually quoted a few bucks less on the new Black 3520 Anniverssary edition and I found a barely used one a few hours away. Just havent decided which one I want yet.

Fantastic! You got very lucky to have two great choices! I spent 6 months looking for a used full size lathe & never saw a single quality machine. I am sure you will enjoy either one.

If you haven’t done so yet, check out thepatriotwoodworker.com
