Grizzly 0771z? Laguna Fusion? Anything else?
I suppose I’d consider a new contractor saw, but the current price for a new contractor saw seem to make an entry level cabinet saw more appealing.

Looking to spend $1000ish ($1500 at VERY most). Need 120v. Don’t need (or want) huge rip capacity. 30” will do.

I realize I can find great deals on craigslist/facebook marketplace (ive found them before). But I’ve grown tired of haunting those sites, I don’t want to deal with schlepping a 400lb saw into my minivan, and I don’t want to deal with any refurbishments that those saws often need. I just want my new saw to magically appear in my garage, be in new condition, and not need 20 hours worth of elbow grease/phase converters/etc. I’m hoping I can buy a new cabinet saw, and never have to buy another table saw ever again.

Thanks for any guidance.

IMO concentrate on 1. Power and 2. Fence system. This is what’s going to separate ts’s.

Grizzly hybrid looks like a good saw.

I have a Jet 1 3/4” cabinet saw as well as a 3HP Jet. Very happy with both.

I picked up the small for $800 very lightly used like new condition. These type saws are availble in your price range so I would take a look. There was a Delta Unisaw w/52” ext table in my area the other day for $900.

I understand but what’s all the “aggravation” your talking about worth? I unloaded the small saw off my pickup by myself only a dolly. No problems.

Rent a truck and trailer.

By the time I stalk craigslist for weeks or months, make a deal, rent a truck…...the aggravation is worth the price of a new saw. LOL.
I get what you’re saying, and in most cases I’d agree. My current table saw I(and most of the stuff in my shop) is a craigslist deal. I’m just not in the mood this time. Plus I just got a promotion….I want my reward to be something shiny and new. :)

I have one. Nothing wrong with that Grizzly or it’s fence. Very happy with it.
