I finished the restoration on the second of my Stanley 5 1/4.

So the sole has been flattened, the frog flattened, blade sharped (25 degree hollow ground on an 8” wheel, 8000 grit oil stone, and stropped), I believe its original japanning, aluminum handle, BLO refinish on rosewood front knob, and it work nice. I need to start thinning out on my planes, so if anybody ios interested in this for sale or trade, let me know.

Note I bought this without a blade, and it is a Sargent blade, not a Stanley.
