Topic tags/keywords: question

This is just a quick forum I had to mention because I thought it would be a great idea. We all come across identifying wood here and there and it can get very confusing. SO… why not have a page on LJ’s of all the types of woods and trees with pictures and facts on how to classify them? Meh, just my two cents :/

I’ve always thought the site should include a user generated wiki. It would work for something like this.

great idea! I use random wood identification sites all the time, it would be so much more convenient to have that kind of resource here.

I added a request for a Wiki to the feedback forum.

yes mark you are so right, we really are the premiere wood working site and we should have that…and maybe even a place to get measurement info..inches to metric…that kind of thing…but the wood identification is really needed..i vote yes…good one mark…and maybe even a dictionary so all of us wood heads learn how to spell…or wood it be spelled would…...:))

Funny that two people mention it within such a short period of time :D

Same person. I believe WayneC’s post #4 above 9 days is indicating that he started the wiki topic.

Stand down. No conspiracies of one. ;=)
