I am sure many of you are familiar with Patrick Leach and his magnum opus on Stanley handplanes, but if you are not here is the shortcut to the site. I enjoy his writing style as he does not take himself too seriously and keeps the subject matter in perspective. After all, we aren’t talking artifical hearts here, we’re talking handplanes. Also, he does have a bi-monthly newletter (I think its bi-monthly or as he might say buy-monthly) which is an exhaustive list of the tools he searches the world for and has for sale. The newsletter in and of itself is very educational and I have purchased tools from him with great confidence that I don’t always have with ebay. I have absolutely no affiliation with him, but I think if you are interested in Stanley or other handplanes, he is the go to guy. Go to www.supertool.com and click on the Blood and Gore tab.
