I would think you would be hard to get the materials for $200. No idea on the shipping cost, but probably close to the cost of the bench.

I like how you included “lightweight”. I’d buy it on sight for $200 but it would be as a light assembly table. I can’t see it withstanding racking from me and my poorly cambered jack. I broke a wooden benchdog hammering my plane till together this weekend. My dream bench is going to be obscene in terms of weight.

I don’t know… I bought one that looks VERY similar for $50 in Canada (used), and to say it is lightweight is an understatement. It weighs maybe 40 lbs. Maybe.

I’m guessing it goes more than 40lbs…. it is 55” x 20”

Looks just like the one i bought 2 months ago for $15 on a garage sale. It has 5/8 holes instead of 3/4. So you have to make your own stops for it.

$15 is a steal. Great find.

Looks very usable. Have a heavier one for planeing?

I know it was a great deal. It looks kind of wimpy in my garage, but it does the trick. I looked at beefing up the top, or even make a slide-out support. And I looked at building a heavier base for it. But with al that I might as well build a new bench just the way I like it. But that will never happen.
