Anyone on here have this manual? It’s an old saw. I salvaged this one from a loaded truck headed to the scrap yard. Rusty is an understatement. I’ve got her all sanded, repainted, wired up and running. Have been using it for about a year, tilted it up for a 45 cut today and sparks shot out of the motor. Investigating I found the motor ballance was split at the set screw hole allowing it to contact parts below. I have no idea what the motor is. I’m hoping the manual might give some direction.
Electric shops (like many things) seem to be a thing of the past…and good luck getting help with a matter like THIS at home depot or lowes. Ha!!
