I was there, I did it and it still feels like magic to me! A 5 1/2” Cube turned into a Tri Corner Bowl.

Phil … Watched the video … Nice piece.

An added bonus is that you came out of it with all of the skin on your knuckles!

Nice bowl and interesting process turning it.

I think some of the tear out can be controlled by gluing on thin pieces of soft “waste” wood to the edges that are tearing. I have used that technique when turning square bowls. Then just cut the scrap off and sand when the turning is done.
