I created a new forum thread but later noticed an existing thread that I should have replied to instead of creating a new thread. So I replied on that thread but then couldn’t find a way to delete the thread I created. Can I delete a post after I’ve posted it? No one had replied yet.

Is there a FAQ for these kinds of things.

thanks

I belive you can edit the title and text and replace it with the words deleted. I’m not aware of any way to delete an actual entry. Perhaps Martin can weigh in.

As long as there aren’t any replies on it, click edit, then erase the whole thing. I don’t know what would happen if there are replies on it.
That’s a question for Martin.

Hey coloradoclimber.. welcome to LJ. It is not possible to delete the posts. This feature will be added in the coming weeks.

I think that your Porter Cable 4216 Dovetail jig is great content for the new topic so we don’t need to adjust anything. However if you still want to remove it let me know by sending me the message.

Hey Martin, can you do this for us? We’ve been waiting for almost 6 years. What’s the word?

SIX YEARS? Jeez, I thought I was bad for saying I’d do stuff and then not getting round to it.

It’s been put back on the list. We’ll keep you posted.
