Anybody have any experience with these?

https://tinyurl.com/ycnbptlz

I have a couple kitchen cabinet jobs coming up that require a fair amount edgebanding. I want to move on from FastEdge -too much strain on the wrist and was thinking of getting a machine to help. There is that hot air blower from Rockler which I hear is fine….but for $50 more I can get a hot glue pot, self-feed machine? Is there a benefit of hot air/iron application over hot glue?

Both of these are in my budget and am just looking for advice in choosing one of them. THX.

I’ve never seen this one before but the difference between a hot air gun and a glue pot, especially self feed is going to be night and day.

I’d recommend building a formica topped table around this tool to keep your bigger pieces flat to the edge bander rollers. Melamine scratches easy so make sure you keep your surface clean !

Good luck !

At the price it sounds like something from Harbor Freight.
