I have a question: Where are some locations that I can order a sanding mop and are there better brands than others. I am just getting into intarsia and would love to get one but I’m not sure what to get. I have a drill press that and drills that I can use it on. Thanks for all the help in advance. Lynn |

Rockler has them, also you could just google ‘sanding mop’ and come up with a lot of sources. -- If you say 'It's good enough', it probably isn't. |

Klingspor Sanding Mops are pretty good. Check them out at klingspor.com -- " 'woodworker'.....it's a good word, an honest word." - Sam Maloof |

I have ordered from Industrial Abrasives ( http://www.industrialabrasives.com/ ) ... good service, good products, decent prices. —Gerry -- Gerry -- "I don't plan to ever really grow up ... I'm just going to learn how to act in public!" |

I make mine with strips of sandpaper and a carriage bolt. I couldnt believe they were worth $59. I think others have posted shop made sanding mops on this site. Just trying to save you a few $. -- " I'll try to be nicer, if you'll try to be smarter" gfadvm |
