I am going to embark on my first wooden project. A 24”X12”x12” box to mount on the frame/tongue of a popup camper between the LPG bottle and the hand crank that raises and lowers the camper to put it on the vehicle hitch. I have some 1/4” sheets of marine plywood and prefer to use them so I don’t have to buy something thicker.

The guy at Home Depot suggested using 1×2 as a frame inside the box to screw the plywood on to. Oh yea, I will probably need to install hinges on the top to open it and secure it wi a padlock.

Any other suggestions are definetly welcome.

Thanks.
