We have at our school chain saw art of Eagles. The person who purchased them for the school recently passed on. We would like to help keep them for as long as possible so need advice on what to do to help preserve them. They are outside by the School sign. So in all kinds of weather.

My guess would be some kind of marine finish. I’m sure someone here will know. Good luck!

Formbys water seal is a good product, I would assume any product of such a nature should work just fine; available at most lumber yards and hardware stores, you just spray it on once a year and they should last well.
