Thanks Joe, yes, I recognize most of the songs in the list…...guess that dates me….......

On call this weekend, piddling along in the shop some. Right now making a box from scrap plywood for nail gun nails that fits on a shelf in my multipurpose bench. It has slots inside for moveable hardboard dividers. Little more sanding and a coat of Watco.

Gotta put a light in the compressor compartment, easy cause it is wired for it. And the door to the compartment needs a prop.

All that should get done tomorrow morning (I take Mondays off when I have been on call for the weekend)

Enjoy the rest of the day…...

Jim

Very good Jim… Right now, it’s kinda too HOT in my shop to do anything but sweat! We’ve been in 3 digit temps… Today got a little cooler… only 88 right now… got into the 90’s.

Sounds like you’re having FUN piddliling around…

Have a good one…

Hey, GMman, think you or someone gave us that link before and it is pretty darn cool also. I lost it.

Gonna have to favorite this Joe, between the 40’s and the 50’s, that’s my music more or less.

I graduated from high school in 1959. The next 14 years were what I have labeled the lost years. 12 years of education and training, all at a fever pitch, working all the time to pay tuition and room and board as well ….......because my parents were poor.

In between my internship, and specialization was two years in southern Taiwan as a solo doc in the Navy. Pretty isolated.

I call them the lost years because there was no time or way to keep up with news, politics, and sports. I came out of that era pretty much out of it for current culture, music, politics….....you name it.

So I remember the 40’s and 50’s music…..........

The ultimate place on the Internet to find old music and radio programs – to listen to and download for FREE – is http://www.archive.org/index.php. Much more is there too!

Joe I guess I was right 1939, was before you. The Andrew Sisters and K-Kaiser also have a version. The K Kaiser Version is the one that I think features Jimmy Duranti, which is the one I like best.

Bob,

”Well my vintage is 1958….I guess I should play with boys my own age!!!...”

I am puzzled… are you pissed at me and don’t want to play anymore?
I thought you were trying to guess MY vintage… Which is before 1939…
I see no reason to be upset…
