Topic tags/keywords: plans design beds

Hi folks. I haven’t been very active on here because shortly after I signed up I was deployed overseas but I have kept tabs through the Facebook portal.

Anyway, I am back home for a bit and am looking to build a loft bed for my son. I do ok in the workshop but I am not very good at the design part and so am looking to see if anyone has a good set of plans I could follow. Not looking to make any money off someone else’s ideas, just want to give my kid some more space in his bedroom.

I am wanting something that has a desk underneath and maybe some book shelves. Also, having seen a few different models, I think I prefer stairs rather than a ladder but I would gladly look at plans for both types!

Thanks in advance and hopefully now that I am home I will get the chance to participate on here a bit more.
