Jet 1.5 HP 1100 CFM (5 micron bag)

Just a couple comments..

Neither of those dust collectors will get anywhere near the stated cfm…maybe 750 cfm.bhai

The bags will let a lot of of fine dust thru them.

2HP harbor freight collector when they’re running a 25% off coupon (like they are right now)

I have one and it works really well. It’s one of the few items they sell that is generally consider a great deal. After paying so little for that you can splurge on a Wynn filter that will fit nicely on it. As someone else said, the bags let a lot of fine particles through. So either a Wynn filter, or an air cleaner for the shop. But always best to collect dust at the source.

From the feedback I have on Dust collectors….none are ever big enough, none ever have enough CFM, and all the filtration units suck

What are the model numbers? Might help a few of us look up the specs. HP is often overstated, so other items like fan curves and impeller diameter would be useful to know.
