Can anyone tell me if a DDL-149 tailstock will fit my Delta 1460 wood lathe?

I believe all the old Delta tailstocks were custom fit to each headstock. But, if the ways are the same width, and the tongues on the tailstock are a match, try it.

I have one like that, can’t tell what the model really is as it didn’t stamp the first digits/numbers. All I see is the #60 where the model box is. The tailstock that came with it wasn’t the right one, but I got it right on the center line.
I then got a Rockwell 46-450, and tried to use the tailstock, but it was about 1/16” off. It was dead center on the 46-450.

What is the serial number on your lathe? ................. Jerry (in Tucson) www.woodturnerstools.com

Most of the posts these days are one off accounts that ask a question and disappear.
