Took the plunge and bought that bad boy thanks to good info read here.
It should arrive in a few days and i cant wait to cut something. Got a stack of some nice grain black walnut im looking forward to resawing.

Good choice on the saw and the blade. Now get a Carter Stabilizer and some 1/8 and 1/4” blades and youll be able to do anything with this saw.

I had the 514 at one time they are good saws for the money, Mine worked good! you will like it
