I began my hand tool adventure a couple years ago with an inspirational trip to the carpenter’s shop and cabinet maker’s shop at Colonial Williamsburg. I just returned from my second trip. My wife is a real trooper as I discussed hand tools and techniques with the folks for over three hours (combined). 30 minutes of the discussion was about the proper preparation and use of hide glue. Since returning, I logged in and was about to ask about a hand tool forum! This is great! Thank you so much and now my venture continues… -- Phil G |
