12" Dewalt tablesaw?

A friends son was persuaded by his wife to stop at a few rummage sales on the way to the lake and he
came across a 12” Dewalt Tablesaw with a couple of extra blades in good running condition. The owner
said he would not take less than $150 for it, one of the blades was still in a box with a $110 price tag on
it. The father is a retired master cabinetmaker, and the son is a partner in a very successful construction
company, so they know their tools. I have never heard of a 12” Dewalt Table saw, can find no reference
to them on line or on the Vintage tool sites. Has anyone ever heard of this tool, or is he just getting
even for me handing him a 10” Mall skill saw when he asked for skillsaw?
