So I came up with a simple design for one that any damn fool can implement in the hobby shop making his or her own shop built machine. I’d have said the same thing about an in ground swimming pool or sliding table saw before I had them too so I know I’m speaking from iggornunce ( sic). ERGO the question: Do you have one and is it the best thing since sliced smoked salmon and if so why? -- When the moderator chooses sides, his site sucks. |

I have one that gets a lot of use following the bandsaw. It works well to remove saw marks on curved pieces. I tried a drum on my drillpress before I had the OSS and hated it. The paper loaded up/burned the wood. I dont have either problem with my HF OSS -- " I'll try to be nicer, if you'll try to be smarter" gfadvm |

I have the grizzly floor model. Use it every day. Been a real time saver. It was one of those machines that you think, do I really need it ? Then after you get it you wonder why you hand sanded with a foam block for 15 years. By the way I have their flap sander too. Use it every day also. Makes you wonder why you thumb sanded all those round overs all those years . -- mike & judy western md. www. pvwoodcrafts.com pvwccf1@verizon.net |

I have a PerformaX OSS … don’t use it every day I am in the shop, but when I need it, it sure comes in handy. Very east to ‘sand to the line’, and take out saw marks. —Gerry -- Gerry -- "I don't plan to ever really grow up ... I'm just going to learn how to act in public!" |

I have a delta B.O.S.S. I use it all most every day, but I wish the spindel was longer like the one grizzly sells. -- Chuck, wiswood2 www.wisconsinwoodchuck.com |
