(we’ve got a combo softball/fastpitch\nightly rock n’ roll concert thing going on here..300 teams from western Canada, Alaska and the Pacific Northwest in..Sigh. venue holds 5,000 beer swilling, etc…I wanna gotosleep at night..midnight, Glass Tiger in through my window..oh well, at least I’m about 8 km away..I have a co worker that is on the foot path away from the festivities..popular spot to stop off for relief..)

Happy Canada day to our northern friends – but being Canadian born myself and naturalized US citizen since 1959, today I’m Canadian. The Irish do this sort of thing on St Patrick day, so I can do it today!

It sure was a great day, even though I got called back in to work. Got home in time to take the kids to the fireworks, they had a blast! I am hopeful that the next 144 will be just as good!
