FYI..

Timber Wolf buy 3 get the 4th blade free sale is ending on July 6th..

Time to stock up.. approx 60 bucks for four blades seems like a good deal to me..

http://www.suffolkmachinery.com/

I’m not affilated in any way other than a customer.. I’ve also never used these blades before.. so I’m not speaking to the quality of them..

but from a quick search here.. they seem to be good..

Thanks for the headsup. Unfortunately, my bandsaw is HUGE and requires custom blades. I think Timberwolfs are pretty popular here, although I prefer Lenox. You helped someone out with this headsup.

Goat, did you notice those Timberwolf guides for $400? Those things look really nice. That’s the first I’ve seen of them. I wish a had a woodmizer;)

Oh man, I’ve been thinking about getting some of their blades…maybe this is the time.

Can people help me decide what to get? I have a 14” Grizzly bandsaw and want to get into cutting bandsaw boxes. The only blades I have are the one that came with the bandsaw and an Olsen 3/16ths blade, I think it is 14 tpi, which I am using to learn how to cut boxes, but I know I will want a 1/8 one at some point soon. What else should I get?

Can’t help you here, Elizabeth. Mine’s for resawing, big wide carbides. You know who knows a lot about bandsaw blades is Loren. I would think a 1/4” 3tpi would be a pretty versatile blade for you. I’m clueless, though.

You have to call to place the order..

The woman that answered my call was more than helpful with getting me set up, and making recomendations.

She was very knowledgeable.. and made good recommendations based on what I wanted to do..

I got 2 1/8 inch 14 tooth blades for puzzle boxes

a 3/8 with 8 tpi

and a 1/2 with 4 tpi..

That 1/2’s going to be an animal, Goat.
