Topic tags/keywords: question

I’d like to make a wine balancer with a wavy wood pattern, or at least wavy in the center.

That would mean making three identical wavy cuts, and possibly one really thin piece.

Do we have a tutorial here on how to cut identical wavy pieces?

Is this project too challenging? Should I start with something else, like practicing cutting boards
(weaves, tumbling blocks, wavy boards, or the wood whisperer’s tutorial)

Should I practice some inlay first…my guess is that inlay is more difficult, no?

Cut your first piece free hand on the band saw. Set up a guide point for the thickness you want and follow the guide point with your pattern piece.

Great. Thanks, I’ll look into them all.

Papadan, I am not really sure what you mean. Do you have any pictures?
