hey guys i know this asnothing to do with woodworking (or does it) i took a turn towards blacksmithing thinking i would be able to mak my own tools for the shop maybe even blades, but practice makes perfect and i know this why because i melted my first knife lol wel if anyone knows were i can get some knowledge on the new trade that would be great and just so u guys know its fun so far try it and get back to (all i made was a brake drum forge simple and cheap) leet me know what u guys think thx again.

My son is very interested in blacksmithing and we went to an exabition at a local art gallery. Met several local guys who are doing it as a hobby and a couple guys doing it as a living. They where all willing to give tips and a couple invited us to visit there shops any time.

Still haven’t built a forge. Please post a pic of yours.
