Applying new finish over Waterlox??

I have a kitchen table of cherry wood, the Waterlox finish is beautiful on the table; approx 4 years old.

The finish seems to be getting softer with age, it imprints easily; for example a tablecloth will imprint into/on
the finish under fairly light pressure.

Could I install a harder finish over the existing Waterlox?
I've thought of a polyurethane for its toughness (I know it sounds bad).

I'd like to retain the beautiful color but top with a harder finish.

I used the Waterlox using the wipe on technique.

Thanks,

I haven't had this issue with waterlox. I would contact their tech guys about it.
Mane just a slightly different waterlox would be better, like their marine finish?
