Topic tags/keywords: humor My Grandparents came to the USA, from the Isle of Man, England. I was looking at some things on their website , & came across this video of a car that was manufactured there. It was the smallest car in the world at the time, 1963. If you have some time to kill watch this Video>. It’s kind of funny. If you want to see more about this car, click below. This is the 1966 Peel Trident. -- Dick Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |

Now this is an interesting vehicle. i couldn’t imagine parking it in my office but for those of us who have to share shop space with cars this would free up a lot of space. It would be a little hard to carry a load of plywood though. I think I will stick with my F150 (I would hate for one of those to pull out in front of me too). thanks for the post. That is one cute little car. -- With God's help all things are possible- even woodworking. Woodworking is not just a hobby, it is an (expletive deleted) expensive hobby. |

This car isn’t for wood guys, & gals, unless your into miniature woodworking. It’s not much bigger than most tool boxes. ;o) -- Dick Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |

As I drive my 40 mile trip to work tonight I’ll be thinking that it may be nice to have one, up untill a semi flys by at 75 mph. I think maybe that would blow one of these right into a ditch. $100 dollars a week in gas is getting old fast. -- Frank Auge---Nichols NY----"My opinion is neither copyrighted nor trademarked, but it is price competitive." |

Simply smashing, you say they were produced in 1963? Are they going to reintroduce them The cornering may be a little (pun) hazardous. -- Your Brother in WoodWorking John, Pittsburgh , PA. |

Great break Dick. It would have worked fine to go to Lowes to get an electric plug. $2.30 for the part and $3.00 for gas. -- Karson Southern Delaware karson_morrison@bigfoot.com |

I don’t think I would be comfortable in this vehicle – having to share highway space with 72 ft long tractor trailer rigs. -- "Heaven is North of the Bridge" |

I wonder how many of these cars had black tire tread marks on their roofs. LOL -- Dick Cain, Hibbing, MN. http://www.woodcarvingillustrated.com/gallery/member.php?uid=3627&protype=1 |
