My Grandparents came to the USA, from the Isle of Man, England.

I was looking at some things on their website , & came across this video of a car that was manufactured there.

It was the smallest car in the world at the time, 1963.

If you have some time to kill watch this Video>.

It’s kind of funny.

If you want to see more about this car, click below.

This is the 1966 Peel Trident.

Now this is an interesting vehicle. i couldn’t imagine parking it in my office but for those of us who have to share shop space with cars this would free up a lot of space. It would be a little hard to carry a load of plywood though. I think I will stick with my F150 (I would hate for one of those to pull out in front of me too).

thanks for the post. That is one cute little car.

This car isn’t for wood guys, & gals, unless your into miniature woodworking.

It’s not much bigger than most tool boxes. ;o)

Very funny, man the top speed would get you splated here in the states. Might be fun to drag race it with a Segway…..

As I drive my 40 mile trip to work tonight I’ll be thinking that it may be nice to have one, up untill a semi flys by at 75 mph. I think maybe that would blow one of these right into a ditch. $100 dollars a week in gas is getting old fast.

Simply smashing, you say they were produced in 1963? Are they going to reintroduce them The cornering may be a little (pun) hazardous.

Great break Dick. It would have worked fine to go to Lowes to get an electric plug. $2.30 for the part and $3.00 for gas.

1960s don’t seem very long ago.

At least not to me, it seems only like yesterday.;o)

Thanks for the laugh Dick. I have about a five mile trip to work, and this would be a great vehicle for the trip.

I don’t think I would be comfortable in this vehicle – having to share highway space with 72 ft long tractor trailer rigs.

I wonder how many of these cars had black tire tread marks on their roofs. LOL
