I’m looking for a mobile base, which I’ve seen before, but cannot remember the brand name. It’s rather unique in that it uses a detachable handle or lift lever, which is used to lift the base and bring the casters to the floor. It’s also unusual in that once flat on the floor, none of the wheels are touching the floor.

Anyone recall the name?

Such designs are sometimes integrated in heavy European
combination machines. I’ve never seen one with a long
steering handle/lift lever in an aftermarket machine base.

Ah, I have now recalled the name. Here it is:

It’s made by Vega, the Vega Machine Mover and the base model is the MMK-1.

Have your say...
