Topic tags/keywords: compound cutting scrollsaw wood turning

Ok i know scroll sawers are familiar with compound cutting but has anyone done a compound cut and then turned it? I am doing wine gobbets for my fiance and I and I thought it might be cute to do a compund cut (like a heart).

Has anyone combined the two before?

Does anyone have a heart pattern I can test (compound pattern)?

thanks jocks!

Are you talking about having your tail stock off-axis the way some people turn the feet of cabriolet legs?
I’ve never been brave enough to try it, but I’m sure at least one of these guys will be able to help.
