Anyone know of a retailer who has a copy of “The Art of Joinery” printed by Christopher Schwarz’s Lost Arts Press? I emailed Lost Arts and John told me that they have none in stock. Tools for Working Wood is out of stock as well… -- Brian - Belmont, Massachusetts |

Brian, The Art of Joinery appears to be available at Amazon.com. But it comes with a $209.97 price tag. -- Challenges are what make life interesting; overcoming them is what makes life meaningful- Joshua Marine |

There is a downloadable version (appears to be what you are talking about), for $7.00 http://lostartpress.wordpress.com/2009/12/14/digital-download-the-expanded-art-of-joinery/ -- Jeremy - Marshfield, WI |

You can also download a free pdf copy of the original 1703 version, “Mechanick Exercises: Or The Doctrine Of Handy-Works” by Joseph Moxon through Google Books. Of course, the old-style long ’s’ and alternative spellings and grammar can be a pain when reading it, but the text is remarkably clear. |
