Topic tags/keywords: question odd pulse behaviour

It is probably something I am doing but I have noticed the last several days that this one project http://lumberjocks.com/projects/48366 doesn’t seem to disappear like the others do once they are read. This has happened with one other project about a week ago, but I can click on 48366 read it and move on to the next post and 48366 still shows up as unread. It is not a huge deal (it is an interesting project) but just odd. I am using Chrome as my browser on an XP laptop if that is relevant?

Mark, I get the same thing and I am using Firefox so it does not appear to be any particular browser.

Oh good, its not just me then! I posted a message to it and it did disappear, must be something in the way the transaction gets committed to the database.

Must be a problem on the LJ server end. Happened to me, also. I’m using Google Chrome.

So the behaviour is repeatable and spread wider than just my machine. So it probably isn’t unique to my setup as we’ve folks here using 3 different browsers.

Just imagine how complex Martin’s world must be to keep this all running, I work in a 5 nines environment and have an inkling of the work required. Very impressive.
