Topic tags/keywords: clamp american tool co quick grip

Had a workshop fire and am desperately trying to replace a type of QUICK GRIP bar clamp that were made by the American Tool Company in the 1980’s. What makes them different is that they can clamp something 5 1/2” deep whereas newer styles of this clamp type only usually clamp around 3 inches deep. I used these in a specific restoration I do and so I could use several of these clamps that are no longer made. They were made in several lengths and I am interested in any of them with the 5 1/2” deep jaws. Willing to travel for them, have them shipped or whatever I need to do. Will pay your price!!! _PLEASE_ sell me yours!

Craftsman also made some of the 5 1/2” deep clamps that are 33 inches long and I will also pay very well for some of these.

If you do not want to sell outright, have antique wood and other items for trade.

I would try some of these, but the vendor on Amazon sounds pretty shaky by the reviews AND I cannot see them very well. Pretty disgusted with most of the low quality stuff coming out of China – one of the reasons I like the American Tool company ones from the 1980’s.
