Bought 1/2 this log and having it cut up
This is a mill that deals in figured maple and fiddle back curly
You know the cool stuff
Anyway a friend and I are splitting this one
30” x 9’

Total out the door will be
$650

I’ll post more lice when she is cut up
Also this log has been drying for a few years
Should be a good one as my friend knows how to pic them

You know I want a tiny piece of that to cast a few hybrid pen blanks! :-} Plus my buddy here at work wants 2 more packs of maple.

Moisture content is a little high in the center pieces so we are going to have them thrown into the kiln
Here is a sample

Seems to me gravity would pull your pile apart.

Some guy drove by a few minutes ago wondering why you cut your firewood so flat.

You know what they say about people who do the same thing over and over expecting different results?
