For those who know more about Festool than I do.

Lets say the sander is in good condition, no scratches any where.
Looks almost new, with few hour use. HOWEVER there is 1 tiny dent on the bottom. Not noticeable though.

Would it be worth $250 for a used one?
Or is it too high?

If it is as you describe, it is a good deal. You can check e-bay over a period of time and you will see that used Festools in good condition usually sell for 75 – 90% of the new retail price. The retail price for this sander is $425.

The sander may still be under warrantee. You should ask the seller how long he has owned it. Festool warrantees are for 3 years.

I have one of these sanders and it is a great.

Advice – You will not get the full value out of using the sander without also getting the Festool Dust Extractor. You can hook up a shop vac. I did that initially, but the dust extractor works much better. Most people think you need one of the bigger dust extractors. I disagree. Their smallest, the Mini, will be perfectly adequate for this sander.

I also think the price is good.

Bought mine brand new and it has more than one dent on it now… doesn’t take long.

Rich is right, you will need an adequate dust collection system to make this work like advertised.

All the best!
